About the event
What is a Silent Book Club? A Silent Book club is a low-pressure gathering where members meet to read their own books quietly in a welcoming space for a set period. There is no assigned reading or required discussion, making it a unique way for readers to connect with others while enjoying their personal reading choices. The format typically includes optional social time before and after the silent reading period for members to chat, share recommendations, and build community.
Dig into your favorite fall reads, enjoy the quiet company of others who also enjoy books and reading, without the pressure to read an assigned text or forced discussion. Grab a cocktail or other beverage from the bar and food from the building food vendors! We can't wait to see you.
This event is organized by the Montrose Regional Library.
