Neon Sky Band formed in January of 2018 in Montrose, CO with the original 2 members Rusty Wouters and ZIN. Over the first couple of years the band following grew rapidly even with some lineup changes. We started out playing cover tunes from several genres like country, southern rock, classic rock, rockabilly, 90’s rock, and others. With the addition of Beau Miller on drums and Stephan Wargo, both formerly of the Johnson County Coroners, our sound started to take shape as a true southern rock band. The next year we added our sound man Chris Thomas to keep us sounding our best and soon found out he is a wizard on keys.
