Join us at The Association for Derby Day on Saturday May 2, 2026. The fun will begin at 2 pm. Pin-Up Competition hosted by the Colorado Pin-Up Club, Layered Kitchen will have a pop-up, live music, horse racing, and help us raise money for Shoes for Kids.

About the event
Join us at The Association for Derby Day on Saturday May 2, 2026. The fun will begin at 2 pm. We'll be featuring special whiskies from Storm King Distilling Company and Buffalo Trace, a Pin-Up Competition hosted by the Colorado Pin-Up Club, Layered Kitchen will have a pop-up serving Hot Browns (a derby tradition) and, there will be an opportunity to support Shoes For Kids in partnership with Montrose Rotary Club.
There'll be Mint Juleps (we will donate $1 from every Julep sold between 3 and 5:30 pm), horse racing, fabulous whiskey, and live music!
2 - 4 pm Pre Derby Fun, Pin Up Competition, Rotary Best Hat Contest, Race Squares for sale through Rotary to support Shoes For Kids.
